Cursed City: Gorslav the Gravekeeper

Assembled the mini, and again, placed home made brick on the base. I pre made brick before this mini, and it was not wide enough to cover rest of the base. I wanted to place a tombstone decoration, and Cursed City already has that part.

Casting the tombstone, and placed it.

Now, I was slight worried whether this is a violation of intellectual property of Games Workshop, so I sent an email to query that to the customer support of GW. GW customer support couldn't give me the direct answer, but the team gave me the link to Games Workshop Intellectual Property Policy. Over there, I was able to find the phrase that says:

Non-commercial recasting and 3D printing. Do not cast or scan any materials based on Games Workshop’s IP. Reproduction for personal use is not an automatic exemption from copyright protection in many territories worldwide. Likewise, do not produce and distribute designs which substantially copy Games Workshop’s products (see ‘Imitations’ below).

Okaay, it looks like that copying is not allowed, so I just discarded the copied tomestone to be safe. I just created usual sand surface and washed it.

Worked on the skirts? using Cadmium Red Deep and Ivory Black, and I tried to use multiple hue on the pale body surface, so I mixed Cadmium Yellow Light, Ultramarine to create desaturated green and tinted with Titanium White. Also mixed Cadmium Red Deep, Ultramarine and Titanium White to create desaturated purple. Not satisfied though.

Working on the helmet and spikes with skulls.

Working on the shovel and the zombie from the grave. I should've put more attention to the highlight of the shovel, as it's too obviously blue.

Cured, matte varnished. Here are final photos.

Group shot with Deadwalker zombies.
