Hammer Beastman (Minotaur) from Arcadia Quest

Primed with Golden Acrylic Gesso (white and black). I'm intending to use transparent oil paints for the skin of these. So, I painted with white and gray, painting the recessed area darker than highlighted area, similar to zenithal highlights.

I'm experimenting with oil paints these days. This is my attempt to use oil paints as wash (from the scratch to the end of the painting session).
I prepare three mix for the skin; semi-transparent Burnt Sienna, mix of Burnt Sienna and Paynes' Gray. Diluted with mineral spirits, I applied on overall skins, and tough of Pyrrole Red on the nose and eyes. After that, I wet-blended zinc white on the highlighted area and the top of the nose.

For the stone hammer, I randomly painted with Yellow Ochre, Oxide Red and Payne's Gray.

Tried NMM on the collar using Cadmium Yellow Light, Burnt Umber and Titanium White:

Now the base. Mix of Crackling Paste and Acrylic Inks for the texture. and put some lava stones (left) and tourmaline stones (right). Once Crackling paste dried, I washed and dry brushed little bit.

They are not dried yet, so it's slightly shiny. Once fully dried, I'll apply matte varnish later.
